This is the 10th fantastic Leeds Waterfront Festival and it promises to be a celebration the like of which Leeds waterfront has never seen before! Our theme this year is 'messing about on the water' and our plan is to fill the water with lots of activities, boats and creativity, spilling out onto the tow path along the way! Our festival starts in Armley at Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills and weaves its way along the Leeds and Liverpool canal through Oddy Locks and passing by Castleton Mill to the canal's kissing point with the river at Granary Wharf. We then head along the river to our annual French-themed weekend hosted by Brasserie Blanc Leeds at Victoria Wharf, along The Calls passing the waterside bars by, to the place to party at Brewery Wharf. It just doesnt stop there as we take you into the heart of the South Bank, with an awesome cultural offering from The Tetley then along to Leeds Dock home of the legendary Dragon Boat races, Royal Armouries Museum and Dock 29! From Leeds Dock our festival takes you along the river again to the heritage of Thwaite Mills Watermill Museum. Four miles of art, music, food, drink, DJs, water activities, family fun and it's all free to attend and explore. We'll keep you posted with regular updates about events and activities!
