Birmingham Institute of Theatre Arts (BITA) presents an amateur production by arrangement with R&H; Theatricals Europe of IN THE HEIGHTS.

From the mind of Lin Manuel-Miranda, the genius behind the multi-award winning HAMILTON comes a musical that tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York’s Washington Heights neighborhood. It’s a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. IN THE HEIGHTS is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

This production will be staged in THE STUDIO at this prestigious theatre

BITA are a drama school run by not-for-profit arts groups 4Stage Arts Ltd and trains young people from the ages of 12-19 weekly during term time.
