NARCS' LAST STAND W/ SPECIAL GUESTS

NARCS ARE GOING OUT AND THEY MAY BE SOME TIME...
After a number of lengthy conversations brought on by changing personal situations within the band, it's with a mixture of emotions that we must announce, NARCS are about to disappear. Maybe permanently, maybe not. Regardless, we couldn't say goodbye without a last hurrah at Brudenell Social Club.

To make sure the night sticks in the memory, NARCS’ have joined forces with Fold to put on 6 acts in total. The event will take place in the main room at Brudenell Social Club.

We've knocked down prices on albums & t-shirts etc (blue, vinyl, CD, T's + totes all £6 or less). There are also some bundles with tickets for this show.
Get them while you can, there aren't many left: http://hyperurl.co/NARCS

NARCS
Pouring fury on driven-alternative-indie noise, NARCS create a unique blend of passionate lyrical incisiveness with powerful, spine-cracking intensity & the occasional shaman-like rantings of a possessed mad man. The band have played received coverage from Noisey, CLASH, Upset, Dork and radio play from BBC 6Music, BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio + more.

Fold
Fold carefully weave both the natural spoken rhythms and eloquence of many voices past and present into a unique tapestry of hip hop, funk, jazz and psychedelic rock threads. Ranging from Bruce Lee to Malcolm X these voices each reflect on and bring to light certain truths that reveal something of the state of the world from a particular perspective. Think Public Enemy, DJ Shadow and Public Service Broadcasting.

Gawjuss
Brand new + mysterious slacker noise. Catchier than a common cold. Even if you’ve never heard them before, you’ll be singing the chorus back at them by the third chorus. Imagine Weezer + Black Flag had a child after an acid binge.

The Hyena Kill
Manchester based hard rock noise merchants.
"The audio equivalent of a spirograph to the back of the head" Rock Sound
"This debut almost overwhelms in its ambition and execution KKKK" Kerrang

AlgernonCornelius
Over the past 2 years Yorkshire bred beat-maker AlgernonCornelius has been prolific in producing “emotionally-infused”, “drugged-out and unsettling” beat-tapes, garnering comparisons as flattering and diverse as DJ Shadow, Oneohtrix Point Never, Dälek, Radiohead and The Chemical Brothers.

DULAHLI
Influences range from Dilla and Madlib to Flying Lotus and Floating Points with a hefty amount of jazz and soul flavour. Dulahli were named on Fred Perry’s ’20 Leeds bands to hear now’, recently played The Jazz Cafe in Camden and are playing Soundwave, Croatia later in the year
