Hamilton's Winter Warmer Festival

The Hamilton Hotel is super excited to announce that the Superjesus and Alex Lloyd will be headlining the inaugural Winter Warmer Festival to be held in the Hamilton Hotel precinct on the Saturday 24th June. Hamilton’s Winter Warmer is an accumulation of all the incredible events and shows that the Hamilton Hotel has been famous for over the years. Whether it’s Mojo Burning, Rods and Rockabilly, Bull rides, comedy, blues or some of the biggest acts in Aussie music, it’s an all-round celebration of an eclectic mix of music, entertainment, food, drinks and experiences that will appeal to all ages. And the best part… It’s all ages and it’s free!!

This festival is shaping up to be a real fire cracker, with one of Australia’s favourite bands from the last 20 years and 3 x ARIA award winners, The Superjesus. Following an overwhelming reaction to a one-off reunion show in their hometown of Adelaide, The Superjesus have since completed a sold out national headline tour, sold out national co-headline tours with Baby Animals and The Tea Party, and shared festival stages with Van Halen, Aerosmith and Bryan Adams.

Joining them will be another multi-platinum ARIA award winner, the ‘amazing’ Alex Lloyd who will no doubt get the crowds singing out loud to all his hits. Backing them up are some hand-picked musical favs from some of north Brisbanes beloved festivals… Spear-headed by Mojo Burning’s Transvald Diamond Syndicate, you can also catch retro rockers, the Sugarshakers, Brisbane indie outfit Feleepo Francisco, Sunshine Coast rising stars Sametime, punk rockers and Hamilton regulars Venus Envy and local blues and roots guitar maestro, Daryl James to complete this diverse yet exciting musical offering.

The Winter Warmer Festival is an exciting new festival to the Hamilton Area. There are so many summer festivals around but not many winter festivals, so we wanted to create an inviting warm vibe as if you were sitting around a camp fire having a beer and listening to good tunes with mates, just on a larger scale.

The festival will offer some of Queensland’s best food trucks to get a meaty fix, Dodgem Cars to get some speed on, a chill out zone where Giant Jenga and Connect 4, will keep you battling to win against your mates, some fine beers, and most of all some of the Hamilton Hotel’s finest line up of music with The Superjesus and Alex Lloyd ready to rock the main stage plus plenty of local and upcoming acts.
