Sunset for Dancers is incredible, when its nice out over 100 people gather here each Sunday to enjoy music in the most beautiful outdoor setting. It's a great opportunity to learn practice or watch exciting Latin, Brazilian, French Caribbean and African partner dances. Here we #moveasone with #purapaixão.

Come learn Kizomba with Octavio Jan, DC's master of Brazilian, Cape Verdean and Angolan connected dance. Our intensive Kizomba workshop this will cover basics, virgula, an intro into saida and work it all into a nice combo.

The main party will begin at or shortly after 6:30PM. Our resident DJ, DJ Ocho Z will play 1/3 Kizomba, 1/3 Zouk and 1/3 Bachata with some Salsa, Semba, Kompa and Cabo Love throughout the evening.

You can purchase your ticket online from

The $10 ticket is a participation fee to cover expenses to produce this event each week. If you are paying in cash, please BRING EXACT CHANGE, we cannot offer any change in the park.

When you arrive, first thing, get your wristband. All participants must be wearing a wristband during the event. Park Police are usually at our events observing our crowd size so we need to know who is part of our group. Thank you for your cooperation and support!
