Led by The Social Innovation Partnership, in collaboration with NetworkedPlanet and the Digital Catapult Centre, this session is for you if you are a manager, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) professional or responsible for data in your organisation, and:

- You need to provide guidance and informed leadership advice to an agency that works with people.

- You understand that there are serious and institution-threatening penalties for failing to handle data carefully.

- You are a professional who works with data, but data and data design are not your areas of expertise.

- You would like to meet other professionals and managers in the public, social and tech sectors.

Our workshop aims to help you:
- Navigate data collection and evaluation under GDPR with practical advice and guidance;

- Meet, and begin collaborating with, other professionals dealing with data in their day-to-day work; and

- Get to know leaders in data innovation.

Our training will combine practical advice and support, covering new terms and concepts related to GDPR, Linked and Open Data and the role a Theory of Change can play in data strategy design, and use the example of Camp Ballot – a mock organisation that collects data in real time via SMS to improve the quality of services offered to refugees in refugee camps – to bring the issues alive. The session will be followed by networking drinks.
