We have a NEW VOLUNTEER PROGRAM for the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge!

You can get involved by restoring native salt marsh and upland habitats for wildlife on a regular basis with others who love willdife and want to help!

There are 7 volunteer training days on all saturdays this October & November, with 4 of them being mandatory. Volunteers will get all trained up on local biological information like birds and herps, and habitat restoration techniques.

The trainings will take place at our Refuge Complex Headquarters, but the actual volunteer work days will take place on our South San Diego Bay Unit of the San Diego Bay NWR in Imperial Beach.

You can sign up by emailing Ranger Debbie Good at: Debbie_Good@fws.gov
or you can call at (619) 575-2704 (X 331)
