Willowbank Raceway’s Winternationals achieves a golden milestone in 2017 when Australian drag racing fans will celebrate the 50th running of the classic event.

The occasion is a double celebration for Willowbank Raceway as it is the 30th time the Winternationals as been held at the track.

The race, the largest championship drag racing event held outside of North America, is the final round of the 400 Thunder season for all of the country’s championships.

From the amazing flame-throwing Top Fuelers through to Junior Dragsters, every bracket that competes for national championship honours will be represented at the Winternationals, with more than 400 cars and motorcycles from all over the country expected to be on track over four big days of racing.

There is non-stop action each day from June 8 to June 11, both on and off the track, with thrilling racing complimented by a wide range of activities near the seating areas and in the competitor paddock – all conducted in a festive atmosphere.
