This year marks Ruth Rippon’s 90th birthday. The Crocker Art Museum will be exhibiting a comprehensive retrospective of her works, "Exuberant Earth, Ceramics by Ruth Rippon". In the Robert Else Gallery will be an exhibition of works by Ruth Rippon’s students from her tenure teaching in the Ceramics studio area at Sacramento State. Artists include Terry Accamando, Suzanne Adan, Eric Dahlin, Ray Gonzales, Richard Hotchkiss, Dr. Lee Kavaljian, Tony Natsoulas, Larry Luis Ortiz, Ronald Peetz, Doug Ratliff, Brian Tanner, Yoshio Taylor, Michael Stevens, Rimas VisGirda and John Weber.

Reception scheduled for the evening of Thursday December 7, 5-8 p.m.

The Robert Else gallery is located in Kadema Hall on the CSUS campus. Admissions is free and open to the public.

Parking Information:
Postcard may be used as a parking permit during the reception only. The closest parking is in Lot 3. Enter from J Street. The daily parking machine is located near the Information booth and is painted a bright yellow. Daily permit is $6. Two-hour permit is $3. The machine accepts cash ($5, $1, quarters, dimes and nickels), Visa and Mastercard.
