Yin 1: Principles of Yin Yoga
50hr Yin Teacher Training

September 9th & 10th
September 30th & October 1st
November 4th & 5th

Join Lisa Jamison, popular yoga instructor and functional anatomy teacher, for advanced training in Yin
Yoga.
We need balance from our fast-paced, multi-tasking, and over-scheduled daily lives. Scientific studies have
determined that stress related illnesses (obesity, heart disease, Alzheimer's, diabetes, anxiety/depression, GI
problems, asthma, premature death, and chronic headaches) can be alleviated through the practice of yinbased
activities.
This 50-hour training is designed to give participants an expansive knowledge of Yin Yoga. Students will
learn to create and teach a well-intentioned yin experience. In this first of four available modules, there will
be an emphasis on mindfulness, breath based practice, functional anatomy, and asana.
This module is offered to yoga instructors or students desiring to deepen their practice. It offers 50 credits
towards YA continuing education requirements. This module is also the first of three for a 150-hr Yin Yoga
Certification, or the first of four towards the Take A Balance BreakTM Yin and Restorative 200 hr Yoga
Teacher Training Program. Enrollment in a certification program is NOT required to participate in this
module.
Take A Balance BreakTM yoga education programs are developed and offered by LIFT Performance
Enhancement and recognized by and registered through Yoga Alliance. All offerings are an interdisciplinary
approach to yoga, focusing on the biopsychosocial model of health, Ayurveda, and a functional movement.

Cost: $750, payment plans available through Lisa Jamison.
