The Leeds Midnight Walk is taking place on Saturday 17 June.
New Venue, New Route, New 9.5 mile challenge!

The new start/finish venue is Xercise 4 Less Gym, Temple House, Ramshead Approach, Ring Road, Seacroft, Leeds, LS14 1NH.

The new 9.5 mile route and is an ‘out and back route’ taking participants along the Ring Road, into Oakwood and along Lidgett Lane, the half way point will be at St Gemma’s Hospice. Drinks and snacks are available at the half way point to keep participants spirits high on the return walk. Each walker will receive a medal at the end of the walk to celebrate their acheivement.

The Leeds Midnight Walk is a very uplifting event, seeing so many people together to walk for one cause is very special and we are thrilled that after 11 years the event is still going strong. Since the event began the people of Leeds have raised a phenomenal: £837,042 for St Gemma’s and we hope to raise £90,000 from this year’s event.

It costs £25,000 a day to keep the Hospice running which is why we ask each participant to raise sponsorship money by taking part in this event. There is no minimum, so any sponsorship you can raise will be very gratefully received!

We want all walkers to wear bright colours during the event so you stand out as your walking the route – glow sticks and neon items will be able to buy on the evening with all profits going to the Hospice.

So go on, sign up for The Leeds Midnight Walk today and have a Saturday night out with a difference. And know that you will be making a difference to St Gemma’s in 2017.
