In The Garden: Africa Oyé at 25 - After Party

As the sun sets over Sefton Park and Saturday night's programming draws to a close, carry on the party & join us in the Garden for a celebration of African sounds & culture.

Past years have seen Bolts & Holmesy take over the Garden's soundsytem until the early hours, this time around they're joined by a few friends to bring their own collections of afro-centric sounds to the table.

Heading the bill is SNO, hailing from South Africa via Manchester - she's quickly gained notoriety in recent years as a serious and respected selector, warming up for the likes of Tony Allen, The Souljazz Orchestra, Akua Naru & Sassy J. Always the life & soul of the party, we look forward to having her throw it down on Saturday night!

We've also got James Zaremba, a key member of the Melodic Distraction crew who has a keen ear for a diverse selection of sounds from the African diaspora.

Cartier 4 Everyone DJs will be bringing the heat later on in the night, with a showcase of the more modern, frenetic sounds of Kuduro & Gqom coming out of the burgeoning African club scene.
